The Community Support Program utilizes wide area motion imagery (WAMI) from Persistent Surveillance Systems.  WAMI or WAAS (Wide Area Augmentation System) is the collection of city-sized imagery (roughly 36 mi²) at resolutions allowing analysts to follow vehicles from crime scenes.  In this imagery, people show up as a 1-pixel dot with no identifying information observable. CSP utilizes this technology by flying a piloted aircraft with the Hawkeye II sensor from Persistent Surveillance Systems over targeted areas, as analysts work with law enforcement on the ground to respond to 911 calls.

In the Image above, you can see the green 6x6 outline that represents the wide area coverage captured by the Hawkeye II system.  This allows us to image nearly half of a city at a time and provide law enforcement with valuable information on events that occur within that area.

Analysts are able to zoom into any area within the image to 1/2 meter resolution allowing us to easily follow vehicles, monitor traffic, respond to emergency situations, and coordinate with law enforcement on the ground.  This capability is seen as a force multiplier to law enforcement agencies all over the country.  Our analysts can have their "eyes" on the scene for any 911 call within our coverage area in seconds.  By providing this capability to command officers CSP provides unprecedented situational awareness and response to the communities we are supporting.

Welcome to the Community Support Program.  Here you will find all the information you need to learn about our company and how we can support your community.  Established in 2016, the Community Support Program is the only company utilizing wide area airborne imagery to ensure your community stays a safe and enjoyable place to live, work, and play.  We are excited about the constantly growing interest in the services we provide and because of this, we are committed to educating citizens about our company, technology, and our experience making communities safer across the country for you and your family.  Please spend some time and explore our website and always feel free to contact us with any questions.

If an emergency event does occur within our coverage area,  CSP analysts are able to follow vehicles from the scene both before and after a crime.  Acting as an ariel witness, this capability gives investigating officers valuable information as to what happened, vehicle descriptions and locations for those that could be involved, and a timeline of the event.  All of this information combined and analyzed propels officers further into the investigation process and enables them to put the pieces together accurately and rapidly.
